It's easy to forget how lucky you are when you have a job that (mostly) doesn't feel like work. And last Thursday was definitely one of those days where I felt like I was having fun for a living... and who better to be doing it with than this wonderful group of human beings whose job it is to bring fun to the nation. And whilst I'm very happy to have put Friday's hangover behind me, some excellent (if not slightly hazy) memories remain... until the next time Effie UK!

Child Poverty Action Group came to us last year with a brief. A brief with an extraordinary ambition. To help end child poverty. The first line of the brief read: “3.9 million UK children are growing up in poverty…” within 6-months, that number had gone up to 4.2 million.

Yes, it was a rare creative opportunity but so much more importantly, it was a chance to help a small charity make a big and very real difference.

Last year, a 9-year-old kid went to school hungry. His parents couldn’t afford to feed him. Worried about what the other kids might think, he packed an empty lunchbox and when the bell rang he hid in the playground and pretended to eat whilst the others tucked into their lunches.

This is a true story and just one of many that inspired the Imagine campaign: https://lnkd.in/ejdRVNVU

As always, a massive shout-out to everyone involved - the number of people who have come together and donated their time, energy and emotion to make this 'Dream Meal' a reality has been truly staggering.

Please watch and share far & wide. Help us make a difference 🙏
