Highlights
Not gonna lie, I'm a little burnt out from travel. Since June I've done 14 journeys including two international trips. And I have one final flight before I am home for five weeks.
Luckily, this last leg on a mega travel sprint is a trip that I am SO EXCITED ABOUT!
I'm heading to Sydney for the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia 2024 conference!
This is gonna be three days of seeing old friends and meeting new ones, discussing the future of engagement and overcoming challenges, and sharing rich conversations across a variety of experiences.
Even more exciting, I am so honoured to deliver the opening keynote for day two!
Rather than a traditional keynote for my engagement friends, we're gonna share a conversation about courageous conversations. A bit meta, but expect interaction and belly laughs. This is a new format for me, and I'm excited to play with my people and try something new.
If you're attending conference, swing by and say hello!
Engagement friends - what are some of the difficult conversations you are navigating right now?
I’m prepping for my keynote at the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia conference and I am tailoring it to conversations you’re having.
For example, I recently facilitated a conversation with a hyper sensitive audience and had to adapt my tone and tactics. I can also imagine some of you are having difficulty communicating the value of engagement to project leads.
I’d love to hear from YOU! DMs are open if you’d rather share privately.
