Highlights
From March 19th to 21st, 2024, the Equans AI Hackathon took place at the TCS Pace Port Paris Tower.
Organized in collaboration between EQUANS,Tata Consultancy Services - UK and Europe, and Microsoft, this event brought together over 25 collaborators from around the world for three days of innovation, ideation, and prototyping.
Focusing on the Energy, Industrial, and Technological Transitions, the hackathon provided a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in real-world challenges aligned with our strategic plan PERFORM and our values of respect, integrity, and responsibility.
I had the honor to introduce the Hackathon, sharing our vision of AI within EQUANS and the event was filled with expert interventions to sensibilize our participants on benefits but also on risks when it comes to AI. I would like to congratulate the two winning teams who demonstrated rigor, creativity, and persuasion to convince the jury that their projects were worth it. - Ward Segers, Wesley Van Koeckhoven, Ramai Nota & Joris Bijnens with their project Love Me Tender to predict RFP outcomes based on past data and generate initial responses for new RFPs. - Aïa Ferrer, Vincent GASCHET, Pauline Arrighi & Philippe Thomas for their project Decarb'AI to digitalize #CarbonShift process to accelerate and simplify our clients transition towards a more carbon-free and resilient world. Not only did they earn victory in the Equans AI Hackathon, but they also secured a direct entry into the Equans Empower Innovation Awards.
Finally, I wanted to personally thank :
- Tata Consultancy Services - UK and Europe for their warm welcome in TCS Pace Port tower, the quality of their technical coaches and UX/UI experts.
- Microsoft for their support in the use of their AI Solutions.
- All the participants and the people at EQUANS for their continuing efforts to make this event a great success. #proudtomakeitreal #OneIteam #empoweringtransitions Kris Jansen, Tom Oostens, Robin Dubois, Laura Baloiu, David Campion, Denis Demuliere, Julien DH, Philippe KERIGNARD
On October 4th, I had the pleasure of visiting the EQUANS teams working on a project for the Amsterdam AUMC hospital, along with the other members of the CIO Council. It was a great experience to see the teams in action and to gain a better understanding of their daily work and the various IT challenges they face. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication. Keep up the great work! #proudtomakeitreal #OneIteam #empoweringtransitions
