Highlights
Surreal to finally be able to say that as of yesterday Wargaming Sydney closes its doors and reopens today as Riot Sydney!
It’s been a wild ride and I’m grateful for everything Wargaming has done to keep this team whole and find us an amazing new home.
We’ll get the chance to contribute to Riots biggest games and a lot of really cool tech, collaborating with their teams in LA to make great games for players!
Recently, I flipped something over on my profile, somewhat silently - but it was a big deal, both personally and in my career, so I wanted to say something.
One of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made was stepping away from my startup Inspace XR. In many ways it was an integral part of me. I met and learned from so many incredibly generous people, and had the great privilege of building one of the most passionate teams I’ve been a part of.
I have always strongly believed in following your passion, and if I’m being honest with myself, video games and the communities that surround them form the bedrock of all my creative endeavours and my biggest aspirations.
To that end, I am thrilled to say that I have joined Dean Finnigan and the amazing creative team at Wargaming Sydney as a Senior Technical Artist. Building the future of online gameplay.
Whilst it’s sad to be leaving a family, I am constantly humbled and inspired by Justin Liang and the team at Inspace, and I look forward to being the #1 raving fan. Can’t wait to see what you guys do, I know it will be incredible.
Let’s battle ;)
