Eric Kohn, an accomplished professional, currently oversees film strategy and development at EDGLRD, a multimedia design collective co-founded by Harmony Korine and Matt Holt. Eric is instrumental in developing new intellectual property concepts spanning filmmaking, fashion, gaming, and other media.

With a distinguished career of nearly 17 years at IndieWire, Eric specialized in film and television art and strategy. He managed various editorial and development initiatives, served as the chief critic, and made substantial contributions to the entertainment industry's dialogue. Eric co-hosted the renowned 'Screen Talk' podcast for almost a decade with Anne Thompson, captivating audiences at festivals globally. His expertise lies in enhancing content quality and brand visibility across multiple platforms.

Beginning as a freelance journalist, Eric has contributed to reputable publications like The New York Times, New York magazine, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter. Through covering numerous films, launching IndieWire's Criticwire Network, and providing strategic editorial content, Eric has solidified his position as a thought leader in the industry. As the Chairman of the esteemed New York Film Critics Circle and an educator at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Eric has played a pivotal role in enriching student involvement in cinematic arts.

Furthermore, Eric remains deeply committed to advancing the film industry through board memberships, professional critiques, and mentorship. He has co-founded impactful workshops like the Critics Academy at Locarno and New York Film Festivals, and the Sundance Fellowship for Film Criticism.

Some of Eric's notable achievements include his tenure as the Chairman of the New York Film Critics Circle, where he elevated the NYFCC to a prominent awards event and expanded and diversified its membership. Additionally, Eric received the 2014 Cinequest Media Legacy Award and founded the Critics Academy Writing Workshop, engaging over 100 participants. He also edited 'Harmony Korine: Interviews,' published by the University of Mississippi Press in 2014, which sold out upon its initial release.
