I believe that every employee has value and potential to contribute meaningfully to an organization. As a leader of fellow human beings (as opposed to a manager of human resources), I always strive to find ways to help my team members find fulfillment in their roles while also benefiting the organization. However, there are times when it may not be possible to achieve both outcomes. In those instances, I never lose sight of the fact that the person still has value. I have never fired an employee without offering a letter of recommendation that describes their value and contributions. It's important to me to recognize and acknowledge the efforts of every employee, and I believe that offering a letter of recommendation is one way to do that. #employeevalue #management #leadership
