Who drives strategy in Medtech?
Regulatory or marketing?
Most of the times it's regulatory. And here's what happens:
Focus is on fastest path to market. But then..
- No clinical data
- No marketing claims
- General indication with insufficient reimbursement
Regulatory is a crucial process, but it can't be done in a silo.
It needs to be developed with the right market strategy in-mind.
