Eric Waldstein is a dedicated education professional with a diverse background in education development, instructional coaching, and business strategy.

Currently serving as a Vice President and partner at Kokua Education, he oversees operations, marketing, and plays a crucial role in strategy and business development to enhance the company's impact in connecting schools with quality substitute teachers.

Before joining Kokua Education, Eric worked as an Education Specialist at bgC3, now Gates Ventures, where he contributed significantly to the growth of the Big History Project (BHP) by expanding it from 30 schools to over 1,000.

His expertise led him to be a keynote speaker at the Macquarie University Future of Education Conference to present the BHP, gaining recognition from various publications like the New York Times Magazine and Business Insider.

Eric's educational journey includes earning a full scholarship for a Master's in Social Policy at the London School of Economics as well as completing a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, excelling with distinctions.

He began his career in education by being selected among thousands to join Teach For America, where he taught 1st and 2nd grade students in NE D.C. and later transitioned to becoming an instructional coach and part of the school's leadership team. Eric's leadership skills were further recognized when he was chosen to be part of TFA's entrepreneurship program.

His academic accomplishments include graduating with honors from the University of San Diego with a degree in Political Science, earning Phi Beta Kappa distinction, and being named Political Science Major of the Year.

Throughout his career, Eric Waldstein has showcased a passion for education, strategic thinking, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the field of education through innovation and development.
