Dr. Erica Bell, a highly accomplished professional, serves as the Administrative Director at the Neuroscience Research Institute (NRI), overseeing biorepository and biomarker initiatives for neurological conditions, along with designing educational programs and mentorship schemes for junior faculty and trainees.

With a wealth of experience, Dr. Bell has been an Associate Professor at Ohio State University's College of Medicine since 2018 and a member of the Translational Therapeutic program in the Comprehensive Cancer Center since 2010. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in molecular biomarkers and adult and pediatric brain tumors for over 10 years.

Dr. Bell's expertise extends to supervising NCI-Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) projects, securing funding from national foundations, and contributing to leading publications like the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA Oncology, and more. She is also a co-inventor on a federal biomarker patent and an esteemed grant reviewer for organizations like the AACR and the Department of Defense.

Her remarkable achievements have been recognized through various awards, including the ASCO Best of Best Award, the Career Development Award for Researchers from OSUCOM, and the Young Alumni Award for Research and Creative Achievement from Otterbein University.

Dr. Bell's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Otterbein College.

Throughout her career, Dr. Erica Bell has held key positions at prestigious institutions like The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, demonstrating her exceptional research, leadership, and contribution to the field of neuroscience and oncology.
