Erica Mosca

Postdoctoral Researcher - Architect - Universal Design expert

Erica Mosca is an architect with a Ph.D. and currently works as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano focusing on Design for All, Universal Design, Inclusive Design, Accessibility, and Healthcare Facilities.

Her research has led to the development of an Evaluation System to assess Universal Design performance of buildings, providing a service for designing more inclusive environments.

Furthermore, Erica has served as a Visiting Ph.D. at the Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access (IDeA Center) at the University at Buffalo (NY) and works as an Accessibility and Universal Design consultant for public procurements and design competitions.

She also imparts her knowledge and expertise as a Training and Teaching assistant in Bachelor's, Master's, and professional courses at Politecnico di Milano, in addition to being a Collaborator of the research group 'Design and Health LAB'.

Moreover, Erica Mosca is actively involved in the architectural community, serving as a Board member of the 'Design for All Italia' association and the 'Collegio degli Ingegneri e Architetti di Milano'.
