Erich Mauff, a former Olympic rower and investment banking executive, has made a name for himself in the burgeoning cannabis industry as one of the founders and former president of Jushi Inc. He grew up in South Africa and attended Brown University, where he double-majored in Economics and History while also competing in varsity crew. After graduation, he joined Merrill Lynch's Debt & Equity Training Program and eventually moved on to Deutsche Bank, where he held various positions in the Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions group before becoming Vice Chairman of Corporate Finance N.A. In 2018, he shifted his focus to the cannabis industry and co-founded Jushi, which has since grown into a publicly traded multi-state operator with a market cap over $1 billion. He retired from Jushi in 2021 and relocated to Los Angeles.
