One of my curiosities is how to create whimsical environments and experiences during facilitations to help folks tap more deeply into their imagination. But in ways that reflect them, their lived experience, or ancestry.
LOOOOOVED this performative piece created by Studio Cachoeira for a community strategy facilitation last night. Inspired by Indigenous principles the studio encountered working with Indigenous communities around reforesting the mind.
We asked participants to do vision and imagination work on the world(s) they're building and engage in the ritual of planting seeds in her hair. I absolutely loved the group and the Arts and Culture Lab for its intentionality. More pictures to come.
