Highlights
I’m so deeply saddened about the loss of my SunPower Corporation colleague and friend Natalie Wymer, who passed away yesterday in the arms of her loving husband Kevin.
She loved football. She was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and of her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. While we shared our love for the Cowboys and supported each other through every up and down, I could always count on her for endless razzing when my Texas Longhorns lost. Especially when her Buckeyes won.
She was a connoisseur of great wine and delighted in the renovation of a beautiful cottage in St Helena, deep in the heart of wine country where she and Kevin lived.
She was an excellent communicator and strategist, and one of the things I loved about working with her was how darn opinionated she was. Because she was usually right.
She had an incredibly wry sense of humor, and she made me laugh at work way more than I should have.
She teased me relentlessly about my overuse of exclamation points and she tried to avoid my hugs, which she also believed were overused.
I’m awfully happy that I got a great big hug from her the last time I saw her.
Rest in Heaven, sweet Natalie. Please note that there was not one single exclamation point used here. Just for you.
Happy Pride Month!
I am so proud to support my incredible LGBTQ+ colleagues and friends who bring so much joy, compassion and love into this world.
It’s harrowing to think that in 2024, it’s still so difficult for so many to be accepted for who they are.
Friends, your courage inspires me every day. I see you. I love you.
There is space in this world for you, and we need you more than ever. Thank you for your strength. The world will catch up to you.
Happy Pride! 🌈 #Pride2024 #LoveIsLove #EqualityForAll
