How do you feel about the phrase "Happy Friday"

While I used to be a frequent user of these two words, I've completely removed the greeting from my vocabulary in recent years.

While no job is perfect, I strive to feel grateful every week day that I have somewhere to focus my creative energy and love of organization. With the opportunities open to me personally, I don't want to encourage a mindset where I'm wishing away five days of the week in order to get two days of freedom.

That sounds like a pretty bad investment to me.

Additionally, how does it make a leadership team feel to hear this? When I have the opportunity to lead a team, my goal is to create an environment where "Happy Monday" is a more common phrase than "Happy Friday." Maybe that's unrealistic, but that doesn't mean it's not worth striving for.

With all of that - Happy March 15th! 😉
