This week, we celebrated the amazing efforts of @CARE at the 2022 #ImpactAwards. CARE provides on the ground solutions in the fight for social justice and the fight against poverty. Their impact reaches across 100 countries and shares our same values in empowering women and girls globally.
Both Nicole “Nikki” Clifton and Carol B. Tomé co-chaired this event as an incredible image of how empowering women positively changes the world. It was encouraging to envision a world with gender equality and to recognize the importance of women in power. Congratulations to all the award winners and all the great work they continue to drive impact and influence the lives of women and girls around the world. The evening would not have been complete without the fantastic performance by five time Grammy award winner and advocate for the rights of women and girls, @Angelique Kidjo!
Over the past 28 years, The UPS Foundation has proudly partnered with CARE by contributing $10 million in grants and $4 million through in-kind support. Their partnership continues to drive the fight against gender inequalities, a mission we deeply cherish. #deliverwhatmatters
