On the left, one of the first editions of VU Amsterdam Summer & Winter School in 2017, on the right, my last big event for Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for the University Social Responsibility Network (USRN), last week. While a few wrinkles have appeared, my spark remained ✨

I've always felt the freedom to explore new ideas, thanks to the amazing leadership of Frans Snijders and former president Celine Mirjam Van Praag. I've been lucky to travel extensively, work from the Dutch consulate in SF with breathtaking views of the Bay, and form esteemed partnerfriendships a long the way (Cole Harry!). I'm confident that the summer & winter school, Internships in the Valley, VU Center for Entrepreneurship, and other initiatives are in excellent hands and will continue to flourish 🌱. Its been an incredible ride and saying goodbye to so many dear colleagues is the hardest part!!

However, it's time for a new adventure, to keep the spark alive. Today I had a great first day at Motopp. During my interview, I instantly connected with the founders and their genuine commitment to achieving a triple win: addressing staff shortages, advancing DEI goals, and providing high-potential newcomers with the careers they truly deserve. I'm looking forward to this new chapter of business development beyond the university walls, together with Dave Baltus, Anna Maas, Magnus Beers, Ashraf Mouhanna, Wanda Compier, Stefan van der Munnik, Merijn Biesterveld and Jan Princen 💪

See you soon Nicolaas Kroone, Michelle Barboure, Maya A., Esmee Paques, Floris Korbee, Reyka Lycklama à Nijeholt, Gagan Kaur, Jan Kostelijk, Bianca van Putten, Sanne Boomsma, Monique van Reij, Enno Masurel :)
