Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and there are so many women in my life that have inspired me including my wife, sisters, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandmothers and so many more! But I would like to highlight my mom, Meryl Lange, who is not only one of the kindest, loving, and nurturing mothers in the world, but she also showed me the value of hard work, education, and living your faith. My mother gave birth to me and my brother (who is 20 months older than me) while she was in law school. She also had my older sisters (3 and 1 at the time) to care for as well! Despite a full plate at home and raising kids, my mom graduated near the top of her class and went on to a prestigious position after law school to clerk for a Missouri Supreme Court Justice. Thank you mom for not just telling me how to live life, but instead showing me the way by your example.
