Highlights
He’s not a legal resident. He's had undue levels of process. It’s not a constitutional crisis. It’s not an outrage except of the manufactured kind. And Dems keep picking such bad poster children for their crusades. (First Hamasniks, now an MS-13 guy with an order of removal.)
UPDATE: After I posted this, a reader made me aware that Gerber recently settled with ONU. According to the settlement agreement, the university agreed to reinstate him to his former position in exchange for his agreement to retire immediately. ONU acknowledged that Gerber “provided outstanding teaching, scholarship and service during his years on the Ohio Northern University faculty.” It also confirmed that “at no time was ever a public safety risk to any member of the ONU community nor acted with moral turpitude.” Both parties now dismiss their respective lawsuits and renounce all other potential claims regarding this episode. The agreement doesn’t specify any financial terms, but one hopes that Gerber at least got his back pay, as well as whatever retirement pay similarly situated professors receive. It’s too bad we won’t now get to read his planned memoir Cancelled. https://t.co/fvU3U2y2pR
