Highlights
Last weekend, I graduated from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
I want to thank my colleagues, friends, mentors, and professors for cheering me on and transforming the way I think about decision making, strategy, and business.
And a special shout out to the part of the village photographed with me here. They kept me going through the heavy coursework, toddler milestones (potty training?), and so much more.
For my next act: conquering the snacking space at the The Hershey Company !
In the past forty years, medical costs have doubled, insurance copays and deductibles have spiked, and bankruptcy rates have quadrupled, creating an avalanche of destructive medical debt. Over 60% of bankruptcies in America have medical debt as a root cause. By working with our partner, RIP Medical Debt, we plan to buy medical debt from the secondary market and forgive it. On average, every $1 can be leveraged to forgive $100 in medical debt, and every donation through this page will be spent directly on forgiving medical debt. We hope to raise $10,000 to abolish $1,000,000 of medical debt. The One to 100 campaign will also focus on buying and forgiving debt from Charlottesville's surrounding counties. We aim to directly impact the communities in which Darden and UVA students, faculty, and staff live. Through this campaign, we can provide relief and, most importantly, hope to our neighbors. The One to 100 campaign is an effort of the Darden Health Club. Please donate here: https://lnkd.in/dTxbuqcC? You can learn more about RIP Medical Debt here: https://lnkd.in/dYUhHc5m
