Farhad Mohit is a seasoned entrepreneur, known for his innovative pursuits in the tech industry. Currently, he is the founder and full-time volunteer at Good Party, a platform focused on empowering indie political candidates with free tools for positive change. Prior to his involvement in Good Party, Farhad founded Flipagram, which later evolved into TikTok after being acquired by ByteDance.

Farhad's entrepreneurial journey began in 1996 with the founding of BizRate.com, a pioneering customer ratings website that played a significant role in popularizing e-commerce. He later ventured into Shopzilla, a prominent shopping search engine, leading it through significant growth and a successful acquisition.

In addition to his major ventures, Farhad has also founded other companies such as DotSpots, Gripe, and Cheers, showcasing his versatility and creative mindset in addressing various societal and business challenges. Despite facing pivots and challenges along the way, Farhad's persistence and adaptability have been key to his success.

Farhad Mohit is not only a successful entrepreneur but also actively involved in philanthropic endeavors. He serves on the board of the Burning Man Project, acts as a TEDx Patron and Catalyst, and is a Founding Trustee of the Farhang Foundation, a non-profit promoting Iranian arts and culture. His commitment to social impact and community development is evident in his diverse involvements.

With a solid educational background, including an MBA from The Wharton School and a double major in Math/Applied Science and Economics from UCLA, Farhad combines academic knowledge with practical experience to drive his ventures forward.

Outside his professional endeavors, Farhad Mohit prioritizes family, residing in Los Angeles with his wife and three children. His rich career history, spanning from groundbreaking startups to impactful philanthropic work, reflects his commitment to innovation, positive change, and community building.
