Farra Trompeter is a seasoned nonprofit strategist with over 25 years of experience in developing strategic communications, brand strategies, campaigns, and strong teams for organizations.

Throughout her career, Farra has worked with various well-known nonprofit organizations such as 92Y, Action Against Hunger, Girl Scouts of the USA, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and many more.

Her specialties include branding, online strategy, fundraising, advocacy, nonprofit management, strategic communications, public relations, strategic planning, content development, social media, social networking, coaching, and capacity building.

Farra holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from The New School, Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from American University and Public Policy from Duke University, and has also studied at Lynbrook High School.

She has contributed to the field of education as a former Adjunct Lecturer at Baruch College, Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Service at New York University, and Part-Time Faculty at The New School.

Farra's professional journey includes roles such as Co-Director, Worker-Owner at Big Duck, Partner, Chief Growth Officer at Big Duck, Vice President at Big Duck, and Senior Associate at Douglas Gould & Company.

She has also been actively involved with NTEN: The Nonprofit Technology Network, having served as Past Chair, Board Chair, and Vice Chair.

In addition to her career accomplishments, Farra is known for her diverse interests as a Queer individual, foodie, and cat mom.
