We're kicking off a search for Binti's new engineering leader! At Binti, we build software for state and county government child welfare agencies with the mission of helping every child in the US have a safe, loving and stable family. We’ve already helped approve 70,000 families to foster/adopt children and we’re working toward tools to support families who are struggling to stay together and thrive. Beyond child welfare, we intend to expand to other social services - rewiring government to be more effective and expand opportunity for people around the world.
After an amazing 6 years with Allison Lacker, who was our first employee and our CTO, she is heading off to take some time off from the work world. She had been an amazing thought partner to me and I'm so grateful for her work building Binti from the ground up with me. She's doing a slow and thoughtful transition and will be available for the new leader to help onboard. I'm looking for someone who can be my thought partner for the next part of this journey, as we take Binti from ~100 employees to 1,000 and beyond. We have a huge vision and last year raised a $45M Series B to accelerate our growth. We’re currently 100 people and will be 150 this year. It’s an exciting period for us. We’re funded by Founders Fund, First Round, Michael Dell, Kapor Capital, Lachy Groom and others. We have a mission-driven, passionate, highly effective team. We offer an above market compensation package, excellent benefits, and we've developed an awesome remote-first culture with options to get together in the bay area 2x/year with the whole team.
If you know incredible engineering leaders who are looking to make huge impact in the world, or if you are one, please reach out to me and I'd love to grab coffee. Please share to help us spread the word. Thank you <3
