Ferdinand Grapperhaus is a visionary leader and the former CEO of Next Sense, focusing on integrating AI-based control logic and building physics algorithms to create energy-positive spaces in professional real estate, resulting in significant energy savings.

His leadership approach is people-oriented, fostering creativity, collaboration, and meaningful innovation within the organization.

Apart from his work at Next Sense, Ferdinand is a founding board member of the 'Changing the Perspective' Foundation, aiming to inspire children's interest in green energy and smart technologies through an annual summer school program.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, further complemented by studies in Applied Physics at Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology.

Ferdinand's educational background also includes studies at Vossius Gymnasium Amsterdam and Carlson Gracie Amsterdam.

His extensive professional experience includes roles such as Ambassador at INESPO, Founder of GESTE Summer School, Technology Pioneer and Digital Leader at the World Economic Forum, Advisory Board Member at SchahlLED, CEO and Co-founder at PHYSEE Technologies, as well as previous intern and co-owner positions.

Ferdinand Grapperhaus has been globally recognized for his contributions to the field, being named a Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and receiving features in prestigious publications like Forbes' '30 Under 30'.
