Fergus Hall is a dedicated Mechanical Engineering student about to complete his MEng at the University of Strathclyde with a Distinction. Currently, he is heavily involved in a research project focusing on hydrodynamic effects on colloidal suspensions while also taking courses in Engineering Optimisation, Fluid Systems Engineering, and Aerospace Propulsion.

During an ERASMUS exchange at the University of Stuttgart, Fergus worked on a group project within the 'Design Theory and Similarity Mechanics' research group, which is part of the University's 'Institute of Aircraft Design' and contributes to the 'PHAROS' project under the 'Clean Sky 2' collaboration.

As a Saltire Scholar Intern, Fergus interned as an R&D Engineering Intern at Coherent Inc. in Silicon Valley, where he improved humidity sealing capabilities for High Power Optically Pumped Semiconductor Lasers, making significant contributions to cutting-edge product development.

Throughout his academic journey, Fergus has studied in Glasgow, Luleå (Sweden), San Francisco (California, USA), and Stuttgart (Germany), meeting diverse and inspiring individuals from various backgrounds. His experiences have prepared him well for the next phase of his career.

Notably, Fergus has also held a position as a Production Manager at Manna Drone Delivery, showcasing his practical experience in a real-world engineering setting.
