Highlights
Some of you know, since late spring I’ve been working at an incredible company called Chrysalis – an ecosystem of companies that enables people with ideas to start, grow and evolve companies from within. I decided to take a position at Chrysalis because at a certain point in my life I realized that we spend most of our time at work, and when this work does not match our personality and abilities, and give us agency and autonomy so that who we are and what we're capable of can really shine, it’s challenging to create robust change in this crazy world – whether that be cutting edge technology, policy, you name it.
Of course, this is easier said than done. Luckily, Chrysalis has dedicated itself to putting its people first for over 20 years through self-management-based principles and practices that encourage power with rather than power over.
In this article, I shed light on how I see this style of organizational design working when it comes to leadership, and the principles to guide action through which everyone is a leader in their own right.
This article is a part of a new publication on Medium, called Chrysalis Sandbox, which is all about how we can evolve the way we create, relate and contribute at work. https://lnkd.in/dbs62JyG #leadership #work #people #change #management #technology #power #leader #design #business #selfmanagement
Oh my heart. The Long Goodbye is one of those films that brings you to your proverbial knees.
Congratulations Riz Ahmed for winning the Oscar for this short but mighty film.
