However, this revolution also poses challenges, with data reliability being a key concern. The accuracy of decisions made by AI systems depends on the quality and integrity of input data. Additionally, privacy of sensitive and personal data is a looming concern, making adequate protection imperative for ethical and responsible use of technology in healthcare.
Another critical point is data security, as intensive data collection raises the risk of security breaches and leakage of sensitive content. Aligning data protection laws with AI advancements becomes urgently necessary in this scenario.
Yet, we cannot deny the transformative potential of AI in healthcare. It has shown the ability to expedite disease diagnosis, facilitate clinical care, bolster medical research, and catalyze the development of new medications.
