I spent my PhD developing novel genomic technologies, and today I am extra excited to share the last bit of this work, which is a multiplex prime editing screening framework! You can read the bioRxiv preprint here: https://lnkd.in/gwjVtPZe, and a longer tweetorial here: https://lnkd.in/g8UFDqVV

Absolutely thrilled to share mine and Troy McDiarmid’s work describing the development of a multiplexed, scalable CRISPRa cell type-specific screening framework that is able to identify 1) proximal and distal regulatory elements and their target genes, 2) gRNAs that lead to potent and specific upregulation of haploinsufficient neurodevelopmental and autism spectrum disorder risk genes and 3) previously uncharacterized enhancer-gene pairs!!
