Quantum eMotion proudly acknowledges the release of NIST's post-quantum cryptography standards.

Our security platform, Sentry-Q, is already equipped with a comprehensive crypto library that includes NIST-recommended quantum-safe algorithms, all seamlessly integrated with our high-performance Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG).

True random numbers play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of NIST's quantum-safe algorithms. QRNGs generate these numbers by leveraging the inherent unpredictability of quantum phenomena, making them crucial for cryptographic applications. This unpredictability ensures that cryptographic keys are exceptionally secure and resilient against attacks, including those posed by future quantum computers.

NIST’s post-quantum cryptographic algorithms are specifically engineered to resist quantum threats. By incorporating true random numbers from QRNGs, these algorithms achieve even greater levels of entropy and security, fortifying them against emerging challenges in the quantum era.

Members of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) have warned of the quantum threat to secure financial sector data in a new report.

The report, "Quantum Technology for Securing Financial Messaging," explores the impact of quantum computing, networking, and communications on finance, recommending remedies for governments and companies to avoid exposing financial data to attacks.

QED-C, formed by the U.S. government and including industry leaders like IBM and JPMorgan, provides insights on minimizing risks from "harvest now, decrypt later" threats.

Recommendations include federal support for migrating to post-quantum cryptography (PQC), growing in-house quantum expertise, and combining quantum key distribution (QKD) with PQC for enhanced security. The report emerged from a QED-C workshop with stakeholders from finance, technology, and academia, identifying use cases for quantum-resistant technologies in secure transactions and infrastructure.
