I would add a focus on the beginning of the 19th century, which led to the establishment of Israel and, much later, what invented the Palestinian idea.
After Israel was conquered by imperial forces 2000 years ago, various empires and colonies ruled here. A Jewish core remained here, but residents from the empires started immigrating. When the Ottoman Empire ruled here, immigrants from Arab countries who came from around the empire immigrated. When the British ruled here, the immigration of refugees from Arab countries increased, as migrant workers. According to Jordanian records, about one hundred and fifty thousand Arabs lived in Israel at the beginning of the 19th century.
When British imperialism exhausted the subject of imperialism, it began to give independence to territories and countries. Egypt gained independence in 1922, and Gaza was under its rule from 1948. Jordan gained its independence in 1946 and the West Bank was annexed to Jordan in 1950. In 1948 the British and the UN proposed the partition plan, a Jewish state would be established on a part of its historical lands and an Arab state would be established on the rest. A Jewish state did arise following the plan. The Arabs did not accept the idea of a Jewish state and therefore opposed it. In addition, Jordan and Egypt wanted the territories they bordered for themselves.
After the establishment of the Jewish state, the Arabs decided to start wars against Israel and lost every one of them. When the Arabs saw that it was not successful in wars, they came up with an idea. The idea was the idea of creating Palestine, the name was taken from a historical name given to Israel, and even during the days of the British Mandate it was called Palestine (Land of Israel) and had a Star of David flag. At the core of the idea was a demand for the lands of the State of Israel for an invented nation.

It is easy to see that this is a people without any history. It has no archaeological findings, no historical records, and nothing that symbolizes a people or collective with a common history. It is a nation whose first and most prominent leader, Yasser Arafat, was Egyptian. Like most of the "Palestinians", he too was an immigrant from a neighboring country.
The only thing that is common to all who define themselves as Palestinian is the desire to see Israel destroyed.
