𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠!
Together with Armelle Levieux we attended the opening ceremony yesterday and were happy to share this momentous event with our guests Yann Bucaille-Lanrezac as well as some of his team members from Café Joyeux. They make disability more visible every day.
Together, we cheered the 4,400 para-athletes and in particular the champions of #TeamAirLiquide who are entering the competition as of today.
The determination, resilience and passion of these athletes are a source of inspiration. By sponsoring 6 of them, including 4 in Paralympic disciplines, we aspired to help them dedicate more time and energy to focus on preparing for the most exciting challenge an athlete can ever face.
This support is also an excellent opportunity to bring to life within our Group the values of #diversity and inclusion that drive Air Liquide. What applies to sport also applies to business: taking a different perspective on disability means opening up to talents, skills and experiences that are a source of diversity and therefore of performance. It also means, quite simply, the opportunity to embrace difference.
To Thibaut Rigaudeau in triathlon, Ezra Frech Frech in athletics, Yohan Peter in fencing and Kgothatso Montjane in tennis: our whole Group is behind you!
