Highlights
News today can be a bit overwhelming with negative images and stories. Nice to read some positive news. While in India many years ago I was struck by the sheer level of poverty. I was determined to still enjoy my holiday with the intention of returning home to do a little good for those homeless children in India. I got to volunteer with The Hope Foundation and helped organise a few successful events. Delighted to see Maureen Forrest being honoured in Cork.
For a guy that hated needles, donating platelets was pretty tough at the beginning(4 years ago) but the staff at the IBTS in St James' were wonderful and the process was painless #giveblood I would also like to thank my Employer Wheelswedeliver for always giving me the time off to donate without fail #wedeliver
I am moving from donating platelets to empowering people with disability to find solutions to Ireland's accessible transport problem. If you work in accessible transport or are affected by the lack of accessible transport for whatever disability you have and live between Shankill to Donnybrook Id love to chat with you.
