Fred Ritzenberg is a seasoned professional with over twenty-five years of experience in the film industry as a writer, producer, and director.

Fred achieved critical acclaim for producing and directing the feature film GOSPEL, lauded by Variety as one of the best concert films since Martin Scorsese's THE LAST WALTZ.

His recent production, ZAYTOUN, premiered at prestigious international film festivals like Toronto International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, and AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Fred is renowned for his screenwriting skills, having penned scripts for prominent Hollywood producers like Joe Roth, Ted Field, and Scott Kroopf.

He imparts his knowledge and expertise as a faculty member at the SF School of Digital Filmmaking and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Santa Clara University.

Fred's passion for mentoring extends to working with aspiring screenwriters at San Quentin Prison through Patton University, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing upcoming talent in the industry.
