Using Regular Expressions effectively in cybersecurity Did you know that the search App in Trend Vision One cybersecurity platform now supports regular expressions? The hands-on training session I led in [^\WgreatCardsc-z][ooo][g][^\Wa-nDeter][t][\xE1] last week was an exceptional experience for customers and partners delving into the intricacies of regular expressions. Through a dynamic approach, we not only introduced concepts but also demystified the inner workings of the regex engine. The enthusiasm within the group was evident as participants actively engaged in practical exercises, mastering the application of regular expressions in diverse Trend Micro data security solutions and specifically within the Vision One Risk Management and XDR platform. Witnessing such eagerness and involvement marked a significant departure from previous regex bootcamps and workshops that I had led, showcasing the effectiveness of this approach in bridging theory and practical application seamlessly. Thanks to Danilo Peña and Leidy A. for the additional use cases. Thanks to Daniel Baron for organizing this event to solve specific customers' cases and inviting a group of people really interested in or in need of knowledge about regexes. #TrendThreatHunting
