Froza Mushfique is a dedicated individual with a strong interest in developing medicines for serious diseases. She has a background in conducting molecular and patient-centered research, working closely with leading scientists and top doctors to advance clinical trials. Froza has particular success in synthesizing nanoparticles and aims to explore small molecule and nanoparticle drug delivery systems. Pursuing a BS in Biochemistry, she possesses a solid understanding of cell biology, genetics, and medical terminology. During her internship with Dr. Yashar Salek M.D., Froza gained valuable insights into various research phases and data management protocols. Her research focuses on proteinopathy, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative stress in diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and she has contributed to developing a model for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). Eager to leverage her research experience and innovative drug design concepts, Froza is keen on making strides in drug discovery and showcasing her expertise in molecular mechanism research for neurodegenerative diseases. With effective communication and relationship-building skills honed through project work and internships, Froza is a cooperative and enthusiastic team player with proficiency in multiple languages.
