The Roberts Consulting Group is at the National Association of Medicaid Directors fall conference! It is great opportunity to visit with clients, longtime friends, and former colleagues from across the country at one of the best industry conferences of the year. My time spent as a board member of this important organization when I was the TennCare Director will always be one of my favorite professional experiences. Looking forward to connecting with everyone again this year!

Listening to Tennessee Governor Bill Lee deliver his State of the State address tonight, I was reminded of all the tireless work that went into creating the Tennessee Shared Savings waiver back in 2019. Tonight Governor Lee announced that TennCare will receive more than $300,000,000 from CMS for its performance under the first year of this innovative, first-of-its-kind waiver. And all of this money will be invested into the lives and health of our fellow Tennesseans.
This is a historic day for Medicaid and TennCare.
Congratulations to Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and my former team at TennCare for executing on the vision we cast under this waiver.
And kudos to my friends at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for working closely with TennCare to support the state, the TennCare program, and all Tennesseans.
