Hello ex-Meta, Twitter, Stripe, etc. I come to you from Knowledge Futures Group, a small non-profit that builds open infrastructure that helps researchers work more effectively, equitably, and sustainably. We're about to scale up engineering & partnerships. We have extremely strong core values (https://lnkd.in/eYc6urPa) and a healthy work culture to match. We work four days a week, pay fairly, transparently, and well (not FAANG well, but well). We have multiple years of unrestricted funding and are ahead on earned revenue goals.

Most importantly, we're poised to expand our core platform PubPub (https://pubpub.org), already home to thousands of innovative communities, to support even bigger, more radical experiments in making research more open and effective, as well as launch Underlay (https://underlay.org), a novel data sharing platform. That's where you come in?(!) Unlike big tech, we can't offer all the pay, perks, lottery tickets, and structure in the world. What we can offer is stable, healthy, meaningful, and fairly compensated work on important problems with good people who care about the future of knowledge and its impact on society.

Roles aren't up yet, but if this resonates and you or someone you know and you're in product, web dev (node/react), data dev, or partnerships/marketing, DM me or email gabe at knowledge futures dot org.
