Excited for this first set of milestones for Dust: some customers that trust and use Dust quite a bit, a first revenue milestone since starting commercialisation last fall, and the renewed trust of our investors to accelerate.
Stanislas Polu and I started Dust because we’re convinced about the possibility to rethink the software layer for teams. Not by “adding AI” as an ancillary extension of existing software silos, but rather by “vectorising” more of a company’s state and operational constraints, and preparing for better, richer human/machine interfaces that leverage that vectorised layer to help “get the work done” while people focus on what they’re most uniquely qualified to do. Let people keep their workflows and software preferences, but drop the data trenches that hinder performance, collaboration and accountability.
Thanks to the entire Dust team, our investors Konstantine Buhler Ross Fubini Diede van Lamoen Reshma Sohoni Carlos Eduardo Espinal MBE Philipp Moehring Andreas Klinger Pietro Bezza Sitar Teli and our extended investor family!
And most importantly, thanks to our early customers and inexhaustible sources of feedback and inspiration Alan Qonto Pennylane PayFit France Payflip Photoroom Watershed Kyriba ReD Associates and many many more.
It’s very early days. For more flexible machine, for this technology in particular, for Dust. Fun times, onwards! I’m enthusiastic about the short-term improvements to Dust that some users are testing and the many more to come.
Using Stripe is a bit of a no-brainer for us at Dust because we were lucky enough to be part of building it for a few years with Stan.
Stripe is also one of the reasons Dust exists, because as the team there grew, we got to witness first hand the impact it has to hire great people and just let them do their best work with the right tools and context. Ideally, Dust helps more teams operate like Stripe.
Also, now, I know a camera crew doesn't quite fit in my flat without taking over the bathroom.
Thanks for the frames Stripe!
