Thanks to the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, Inc. (FAVOB), I joined fellow veteran business owners yesterday in Tallahassee talking to the veterans caucus in the state legislature. There are elected veterans on both sides of the aisle, and we met with over a dozen of them. We highlighted opportunities and issues facing veteran businesses in Florida and received lots of support from our elected leaders. There is bipartisan action to make Florida the best state in the Union for veterans, their families, and veteran entrepreneurship! We even watched from the gallery when the Senate voted on a bill to streamline veteran occupational licensing , which they passed unanimously! Thanks to all who set this up.
