Dr. Gary Cole is a nonprofit veteran and philanthropic strategist currently serving as the Regional President of the West Region for the USO, overseeing operations across 13 states and 52 locations.

Previously, Gary held key roles at prestigious organizations such as the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, the University of Texas at Arlington, Cook Children's Health Foundation, and Pursuant.

With a 34-year career in the nonprofit sector, Gary is an expert in revenue generation, membership programs, fundraising strategies, and nonprofit leadership.

He is a proponent of lifelong learning and has taught graduate courses at St. Mary's University of Minnesota, focusing on nonprofit finance, strategic planning, and donor engagement.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Communication from Texas Tech University, a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Recognized for his contributions, Gary received the Ben Franklin Award for Outstanding Professional Fundraising Executive from the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2008.
