Like many working in technology, I’ve worked with teams across many parts of Eastern Europe. In recent times, I’ve worked with a lot of individuals who live in Ukraine - all good people, dedicated, hard working and part of our team. A few years back, we gathered contributions of inspirational stories for International Womens Day - the stories our remote team shared were inspirational, thought provoking and a reminder of how the world seemed to have changed so much this century.
It’s devastating to see to the events of the last few days. So many of our colleagues, have had their lives destroyed in hours. Our words seem futile yet it’s hard to know what else we can do at this point.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by recent events. For those I have worked with, you’re very much front of mind - if there’s anything I can do, please let me know. No doubt it’s another long and difficult night, particularly in Kiev. May God be with you. I pray and hope a diplomatic solution can be found quickly.
