Highlights
I’m pleased to share our latest collaboration at Research Smart to transform research into menopause, working with Len May, EndoDNA and Dr. Jennifer Berman, the leading authority on menopause health in the US and creator of the Menopause Biotype test.
Our aim is to help clinicians and women with menopause symptoms find the right treatment, in the right dose, at the right time, informed by the genomics and Real World Evidence captured through mobile apps.
Having seen some women in my life experiencing perimenopause and menopause, it is clear that there is way more research to be done here - I hope that we can contribute to the effort with our collaboration.

The entrepreneurial path has its ups and down but today is very much a high. I'm in a very happy Deutschland after yesterday's win for die Mannschaft over Scotland and ahead of today's Mary Jane Berlin - the biggest ever gathering of the global cannabis community in Europe, with an estimated 50k people at the iconic Messe Berlin this weekend for the tradeshow, seminars, networking and now fully legal cannabis consumption.
Germany introduced its new legal framework on cannabis from April 1 this year, allowing cannabis to be grown at home and introducing a new social club model where people can join a club and grow together. Smoking is allowed outdoors at certain times and in certain places.
Where Germany leads, let others follow. Ahead of the election in the UK, the Lib Dems and Greens have committed to regulation and decriminalisation respectively. I admire Farage's position on drug reform, even if I don't share his views on most other things. When Rishi bows out, I imagine it will be down to people like Wes Streeting, Yvonne Cooper, Rachel Reeves and of course Sir Keir Starmer to sort out the UK.
I was hoping for a hung parliament to give some influence to the LibDems and Greens, but under a Labour super majority it's likely drug law reform will be a secondary issue. Meanwhile, down the road from me in Finsbury Park there is the permanent smell of high grade, with roadmen hanging on Blackstock Road like a scene out of The Wire. I've got used to it but it makes my kids very nervous. The bottom end of the park itself is like an outdoor consumption area. Nobody seems to be bothered.
Let's learn from the Germans. I'm here in Berlin with Product Earth as our event in London is coming up this September at the incredible Drumsheds. I've had some great conversations with the likes of Jungle Boys, Sensi Seeds, Grove Bags and too many others to mention in the last few hours. There is real excitement about Europe and the opportunities now opening up.
I read the latest Euromonitor International report on the rise of cannabis drinks in the US and it made me think about how far there still is to travel in Europe. The "cannacurious" are being introduced through the drinks category. TRIP, Goodrays CBD and others have introduced CBD in drinks, but the liquid THC opportunity in Europe is completely open as far as I know. Just this week, Grass & Co. launched an incredible range of functional mushroom drinks and I'm sure that they will do well. Drinks are easy to understand.
The German police have suggested to English fans that they might be better off smoking weed than drinking beer on Sunday before the match against Serbia. At some future football tournament in Germany, perhaps all the fans will be drinking cannabis drinks.
I'm around for the day today if anybody is in Berlin and interested in meeting please DM. We can hit my new DynaVap - legally.
