The ability of models to be effectively fine-tuned is critical for AI adoption by enterprises. Just found a very fascinating study on fine-tuning these three language models. GPT-4o-mini emerged as the top performer, setting a new benchmark, while Llama-3.1-8B offered the fastest fine-tuning process. This study includes the methodology that they used and highlights practical challenges of optimizing models for specific tasks like vulnerability remediation.
