It’s been a long 3 years of real estate. Ups and downs, switching brokerages, many many home tours, joining a team, being solo, and a whole lot of texts, calls, and social media posts to advertise myself as a Realtor.

If you asked me a year ago, I would have told you that I wasn’t sure how much longer I’d be doing this because it wasn’t turning out the way I expected it to. But after some time, planting the seeds of potential homebuyers and home sellers, I’m so happy that my career is turning a corner.

In the past 2 days, I’ve helped 2 clients get into escrow. This is my first time in 3 years where I’m in multiple escrows at the same time!

Yesterday, I was training a 5th and 6th grader on the basketball court. I could see them getting upset when they missed shots, when they couldn’t do the dribble move the correct way. I could see them comparing themselves to one another and losing their confidence in themselves because the other was doing better.

I told them that everyone has their different paths…not one person’s journey is the exact same as another’s. They should not compare themselves to others, but rather focus on doing and being the best they can.

I believe I’m a true testament to this. As a Realtor who has NEVER paid for clients through lead generation software like many others do. ALL of my clients have been FRIENDS, FAMILY, or REFERALS FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY…that is something I am truly PROUD OF. I got into this business to help friends, family, friends of friends/family and I’ve stuck to that.

I want to send a special shout out to Fifty Hills Real Estate for the honor of being agent of the week. One of the greatest decisions I’ve made in this career has been joining the team. Such a young, vibrant, eager, collaborative, and hungry group that has given me more life in this short time with them.

Here’s to many more escrows representing this great team and representing more family and friends ❤️

My most proudest sales are the ones when I get to represent long time friends. I got to do so again, representing a family that I've gotten to know well for the past 3 years.

This home was our second offer as we missed out on our first one by a measly $5,000. As a Realtor, I've learned that it is important to have your client select the maximum amount of money they want to spend and go all in with that number and that is what we did. Unfortunately missed out on this home, but my clients were at ease, knowing that they were not willing to go any higher. In reality though, we had the better offer....oh well

Although we did lose, what came out of it was the opportunity to compete with a preemptive offer for this beautiful home in a community they are very familiar with as they have family who live right around the corner. If you know me, you know that I hate losing so I knew I had to do everything possible to secure this home for them and that is what I did.

In self reflection, I truly believe I fought very hard for my clients with both of these offers. The relationship I formed with the listing agent really helped and a learning experience from the first offer may have been the deciding factor that awarded us the win with the second offer.

Big shoutout to my clients for their perseverance throughout this process. After missing out on our first offer on a home that the WHOLE family loved, it was easy to "give up" or "take a break", but their determination is what fueled them and me to keep going.

If you or anyone you know has interest in buying or selling real estate, it would be a true honor to help!
