State Voices Director of Strategic Partnerships

George Christie is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience managing non-profit organizations and implementing grassroots organizing campaigns. He currently oversees the State Voices Tools for All (TFA) program, enhancing the operations of numerous national and state organizations' nonpartisan electoral and advocacy programs.

Prior to joining State Voices in 2013, George managed the TFA program for State Voices as part of the ISSI team. He also served as the ISSI data and targeting manager for Engage Maine, bringing a wealth of experience in data management and grassroots organizing.

Throughout his career, George has played a pivotal role in managing and leading numerous state-wide ballot initiatives and directing the Dirigo Alliance, a progressive electoral coalition in Maine. His efforts have contributed to the election of over 300 candidates to public office, showcasing his impactful leadership.

George's educational background includes a BA in Political Science, Economics, and History from Michigan State University, reflecting his strong foundation in relevant fields. Additionally, he attended Centerline High School, further shaping his academic journey.

In his personal life, George resides in Maine where he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He has a passion for gardening in challenging rocky soil conditions and cherishes moments with his Black Labs, reflecting his well-rounded lifestyle.

George's professional experience spans across various key roles including Former Director Of Strategic Partnerships, Former Senior Program Manager, Former Data and Targeting Manager at ISSI, and Former Director of Programs and Outreach at Engage Maine. His dedication to advancing nonpartisan initiatives and progressive causes highlights his impactful contributions to the community.
