Inspired by society's tech dependency and vulnerabilities, George delved into thriller writing with his debut novel, "Going Dark," blending modern-day suspense with historical drama.

Apart from his literary pursuits, George holds advisory roles at Mayfield Capital and involvement with tech ventures like Jumpstart Ventures, Northcoast Ventures, and non-profit Literary Cleveland.

He is a member of the Information Systems Security Association and the founder and CEO of ApertureXI Technologies, specializing in robotic process automation and systems integration.

During his tenure as CIO at Safeguard Properties, George's team excelled in developing an enterprise mobile SaaS field service application using AWS Cloud technologies, supporting a vast network of mobile workers nationwide.

His achievements were highlighted by winning the 2013 Craine's Business Magazine CIO of the Year award for overseeing a significant acquisition and tech transformation.

George's earlier roles included strategic development at Verizon Wireless, technology management at leading wireless providers like AirTouch Communications and Vodafone, as well as software engineering at Electronic Data Systems for NASA shuttle launches and Optus communication's wireless GSM network launch.

George Mehok holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
