Highlights
Jack Connors, co-founder of our Boston neighbor Hill Holliday, once described effective leaders as Bold. Respectful. And Generous. If there is one leader in this community who has been exemplary of these things, it is Jack himself. Jack dedicated his life to trying to make Massachusetts more inclusive – an example for all who follow. RIP Jack.
"Work that enters culture" is a phrase you hear a lot from advertising folks, and I agree that it's the right benchmark. But, it's often in agency case studies and in trade publications read by...advertising folks. What you see less often is work that has become so inarguably iconic that it gets 4,500 words in the venerable The New York Times. Congrats to Stephanie Courtney, the actress/comedian who plays Flo. Congrats to Progressive Insurance and Remi Kent's incredible team. And, congrats to all of the teams at Arnold Worldwide over the years who have crafted and evolved this campaign, not least my partner Sean McBride, who I predict will accept no credit whatsoever as is his way.
