Georges Vivien Houngbonon is a seasoned economist with a diverse background spanning various sectors and global institutions. Holding a Ph.D. in Industrial Organization of the digital sector from the Paris School of Economics, he has a Master's in Public Policies and Development and an Engineering degree in Statistics. Georges has held positions in academia, development finance institutions, UN agencies, NGOs, and media outlets, primarily focusing on Africa. He is the Founder of the Digital Economics Society, co-founder of Optima Economics, and a member of the board of L'Afrique des Idées think tank. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Advisor at George Washington University's Competition and Innovation Lab. Georges is not only a professional but also a mentor and philanthropist, with a keen interest in the philosophical meaning of beauty.
