Gerald C. Kane, also known as Jerry Kane, is a Professor and the C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Chair in Business Administration at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. He currently serves as the MIS Department Head, a position he has held since July 2022.1
Kane is a renowned expert in digital transformation and how organizations can respond to technological disruption. He has authored two books published by MIT Press: "The Technology Fallacy: How People are the Real Key to Digital Transformation" (2019) and "The Transformation Myth: Leading Your Organization Through Uncertain Times" (2021).13

Kane has surveyed over 20,000 executives worldwide and interviewed more than 150 executive and thought leaders to determine key factors associated with digitally mature companies.12
