This article in Wired shares specifics on AI and hiring where I had anecdotes for LinkedIn. Between Gen AI itself and batch application tools to dozens of AI-embedded tools on the company side, the experience is getting to be the worst of all worlds. The Glut Economy facing streaming music, digital books, and SEO also is creating a mess for both applicants and HR professionals.

I am wrapping up a career exploration class for creatives at the Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and am getting ready to launch one at Rethink Next for career changing individuals online this summer.

I will be sharing info here and on socials later this week on other key trends and how to create opportunities in this crazy hiring environment.

What are you seeing? Are you stymied after layoffs with this mess? Are your kids graduating college and lost in job search automation?
