When you build your first company, they say you're crazy.

When you build your second company, you know for a fact you're crazy.

Here's what I've learned about entrepreneurship the last few years:

  1. When you get a taste of building, and innovating, and risking ... and it actually works (Pink Chili Agency) ... you get addicted to the operational side of things, quickly. All you want to do is push your company bigger, work harder, grow more. It's all consuming.

  2. But then you realize that the baker doesn't need to bake in order for the business to succeed. If you put the right systems in place for that venture to work on its own, you get your time back.

  3. When you get your time back, you have more hours in the day to be the visionary you once were. You can dream. Think. Network.

Point #3 is where I found myself in February when I spontaneously booked a "thinking" trip to Thailand with a fellow entrepreneur and close friend Dan Chazen.

On that trip, our second venture was born.

And frankly, this time I knew (sort of) what fuckups to avoid. I'm more humble, grounded, purposeful.

I'm excited to announce that together with Dan, my incredible partner Noam, and brother Dori, we've built Pyng.

Pyng is everything I believe in as an entrepreneur: the power of delegating, empowering others, and scaling affordably.

If you're a tech startup looking to outsource a badass CX team, ping me (get it😉): https://hirepyng.com/

Oh, and every single Pyng asset was proudly designed by South African talent. Blown away by your skills & dedication, Teboho Neer 👏

Today, we’re celebrating 2 years of Pink Chili 🌶️

2 years ago, Noam and I sat in my bedroom with a bag full of sour gummies and a mission to change how the TLV tech scene approached social media marketing.

2 years later, Pink Chili is honored to work with Palo Alto Networks Israel R&D Center, Playtika, Intuit, JFrog, Kaltura and many more incredible tech companies.

To say I am humbled wouldn’t capture it.

Every single day, I thank the people that stood (and stand) by my side: my family who believed in me from day 1 and when I called saying “I’m quitting my tech job” they responded with, “we are so excited for you” and not, “are you sure about that?” … my friends that understood when I had to cancel plans and go off the grid to focus, and the people that crafted Pink Chili hand in hand with us (our badass lawyer Dor Marinovsky and genius accountant shahar efraty!)

To our incredible clients that trusted us and supported our weird ideas.

And most importantly, to the best partner I could have EVER dreamed of, Noam Biton. The person that pushes me to be the best version of myself.

When building a company, it’s almost never about the idea. Ideas pivot. Markets change. Technologies develop.

It’s about the people. It’s about the person you choose to go on this rollercoaster with.

The best decision I ever made in my career was choosing Noam as the person next to me. Noam, thank you for believing in me from the very beginning. From saying “yes” without a beat of hesitation when I asked if you wanted to quit our jobs together and take the biggest risk. I couldn’t do this crazyyyyyyyy ‘entrepreneurship thing’ without you.

Here’s to another exciting year of Pink Chili … hope next year’s post is announcing our ringing the bell on the New York Stock Exchange (hey, gotta dream big! 😉)

Happy birthday Pink Chili Agency, we love you. Stop growing up so fast.
